Strengthen Leadership & Organizational Capacity

This program focuses on strengthening the leadership and organizational capacity of Kolping Timor-Leste at every level โ€” from the national board to local Kolping Families. A well-led, well-organized movement is the foundation for everything else we do.

Through training, mentoring, and stronger systems, we equip leaders and coordinators to plan, manage, and grow the organization with transparency and accountability.

  • Leadership training for national and local coordinators
  • Organizational and administrative systems strengthening
  • Planning, monitoring, and reporting capacity
  • Governance, transparency, and accountability
  • Strengthening of local Kolping Family groups

Strengthen Unity & Spiritual Identity

Kolping is a faith-based family. This program deepens the unity and spiritual identity of our members โ€” the Kolping brothers and sisters โ€” rooted in Catholic social teaching and the spirit of Blessed Adolph Kolping.

Through pilgrimages, retreats, gatherings, and formation activities, members grow in faith, fellowship, and personal capacity, strengthening their commitment to one another and their communities.

  • Spiritual formation and retreats
  • Annual pilgrimages and member gatherings
  • Faith-based fellowship and solidarity
  • Member capacity-building and formation
  • Living the values of faith, family, work, and community

Economic Sustainability & Self-Reliance

This program promotes the economic sustainability and self-reliance of Kolping families. We believe that dignified work and stable family livelihoods are the path out of poverty and toward lasting independence.

We support families with practical, income-generating activities โ€” especially in agriculture โ€” together with savings, financial literacy, and small-enterprise development.

  • Agriculture and sustainable farming (vegetables, livestock, horticulture)
  • Family livelihood and income-generating activities
  • Savings groups and financial literacy
  • Small business and entrepreneurship support
  • Self-reliance and economic independence for families
